Unter dem Begriff company Social accountability (kurz CSR) versammeln sich hierbei alle freiwilligen unternehmerischen Tätigkeiten, die zu einer nachhaltigen gesellschaftlichen und wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung beitragen und über die gesetzlichen Forderungen. Ganz im Sinne des alten PR- Wahlspruchs „Tue Gutes und rede darüber“ zielen CSR- Kampagnen darauf ab, die Einstellung der Konsumenten gegenüber den Unternehmen positiv zu beeinflussen. Es wird dabei nicht mehr nur nach dem finanziellen Nutzen eines CSR- Engagements gefragt, sondern als Möglichkeit des Aufbaus oder der Pflege einer guten Unternehmensreputation erkannt. An dieser Stelle stellt sich die kommunikationswissenschaftliche Forschungsfrage: Welchen Einfluss haben CSR-Kampagnen auf die Einstellung derer Rezipienten?
Dieser Frage möchte ich in der folgenden Arbeit mit Hilfe des innerhalb der Persuasionsfoschung populären Elaboration probability versions (ELM) nachgehen.
